The Acer company presented finished equipment on base of new AMD platforms, Acer Aspire One 721.
The Aspire One 721 based on an AMD-based CPU and Aspire One 721 is a sort of cross-over between a netbook and an ultra-thin laptop, measuring 11.6 inches (instead of the standard 10.1 inches) but being powered by the Athlon II Neo K325 single-core central processing unit.
The Acer Aspire One 721 has an 11.6 inch display, with a resolution of 1366×768, a 1.2 GHz dual core AMD Athlon Neo K325 processor, ATI Radeon HD 4225 graphics. You also get 2GB of DDR3 RAM and a 250GB hard drive. A 6 cell battery is included with the netbook and the operating system of choice, is Windows 7 Home Premium.
Other features of the Aspire One 721 netbook include an HDMI output, a multi-gesture touchpad, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, Bluetooth, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, three USB ports, and a 6-cell 5600mAh battery, which can keep the device running for up to 5.5 hours. The laptop runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and weighs about 3.1 pounds.
The ATI Radeon HD 4225 in Acer Aspire One 721 facilitates HDMI output to a TV or to suitably equipped displays. As usual, there's three USB 2.0 ports, a webcam, a card reader, Bluetooth and of course, an Ethernet port.
Optionally, as always, a 3G module. The Aspire One 721 keyboard and the touchpad is equivalent to what we already know from the Aspire 1830 and the previous timeline notebooks from Acer.
